General Information
Rallies are generally held on the first Sunday of each month. Please check the calendar for up-to-date events. All riders must be saddled up and at line-up at 9:45am. Rallies conclude at approximately 2:00-4:00pm.
Setting up equipment - all parents/guardians are asked to help set up and dismantle equipment at rallies and assist an instructor if requested.
Please be aware also that being locals, we are asked to assist at the Port Elliot Show.

Uniform
Jodhpurs: Cream or Navy
Shirt: Blue & white fine stripe available from uniform shops (Club can order)
Tie: Navy (supplies available from Club)
Jumper: Navy Woollen V-Neck (supplies available from Club)
Helmet: Approved hard hat ASNZS 3838, ASTMF1163, or VG1 - cannot be older than 5 years. Proof of purchase necessary.

Summer Uniform: as above without jumper
Cross Country: Blue & white cross country top.
Saddlecloth: Navy blue with white binding and club logo on left.
Gloves, chaps, gaiters are optional, conservative colour preferred. Horse Boots (e.g. brushing or bell boots) may be worn in accordance with PCASA rules and deemed acceptable by Chief Instructor.

Rules
1. Approved hard hat - must not be older than 5 years, & single sole boots to wore at all times when riding.
2. Whips may be used - not more than 75cms in length overall. Dressage whips only allowed with permission from Chief Instructor of the Club.
3. Spurs without rowels are permitted. The neck of the dummy spur may not exceed 35mm in length and must not be under 7mm at the point of the neck. The curve must be downwards.
4. NO cantering/galloping on grounds, unless under supervision. Walking at all times in car/float parking area.
5. Dogs not allowed on the grounds without prior committee approval.
6. A red ribbon must be tied to the tail of any horse that kicks.
7. NO horses are to be tied up to unhitched floats.
8. The front gate is to be closed at all times during a rally.
9. Riders under 18 yrs MUST have a responsible adult in attendance at each rally and any rider who cannot fully control his/her pony must have a responsible adult with him/her when riding.
10. Riders must notify their instructor, Club President, or Secretary by the weekend before the rally if unable to attend any rally.
11. At least one parent to be a financial Social member of the Club.
12. Grounds may be used between rallies by full financial riding members through prior approval.
13. All riders that do not have their “C” certificate or are not in Group 1 Jumping Class must place a neck strap on their pony when jumping at rallies.
14. Performance Cards are required for all combinations (horse & rider)
